Supervision for LPC-Associates in Texas

Feeling overwhelmed about becoming a therapist is normal. The doubts and questions swirling in your mind are common for anyone entering this field. What type of work calls to you? How do you find the right supervisor? Will you be effective in your role? It's okay to have these uncertainties. With guidance and support, you can navigate the path to becoming the therapist you aspire to be.

I decided to become a supervisor because I realized that school doesn’t prepare you for everything and, in this field, it is important to have a good support system. I am here to help guide you on your journey to develop your counseling skills and define your path as a therapist. During our time together, I will be here to support your development and while giving you the space to grow your confidence. We will review ethics and LPC regulations as well as theories, techniques, and interpersonal skills that will allow you to succeed in the field.

Although I use a combination of ACT, EMDR and body-based interventions (somatic and yoga based techniques), I am here to support you as you grow and develop your own style.
